Few rappers can match the passion of up and coming rapper Jcarns (born John Carnegie on January 6, 1990). Hailing from Bradenton, Florida. Jcarns is known for his aggressive staccato flow and deep south swagger comparable to artists Ace Hood, Plies and Briscoe. A longtime member of the rap conglomerate National Ties, Jcarns’ released his first solo project “Unsung Hero” in April, 2011. Fueled by singles ‘Struggles’ and ‘I’m Going to Serve’ (featuring southern lyricist Freedom Writer). He began reaching thousands of fans through YouTube and Facebook with rave reviews.
The buzz Jcarns generated from “Unsung Hero” began earning him attention from major players in the rap industry. The music video for the song ‘Struggles’ as well as full profile of Jcarns was featured on popular rap news source 24HourHiphop.com in June 2011.
In his ‘Next in Line’ profile for 24HourHiphop, Jcarns revealed his inspirations as “my family, all the people around me that said I couldn’t do it, and most of all our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
